The best value in every category, right now

A sticker price tells you almost nothing. What matters is the price per unit of the thing you are actually buying: per terabyte, per watt-hour, per frame, per 1000 lumens. Below is the single best-value pick in each category we track, updated automatically from live prices.

How this works. For each category we take today's cheapest live listing for every model, divide by the unit that decides real value (capacity, performance, brightness and so on), and surface the model with the lowest cost per unit. Follow any row to its full ranking, where you can see every model and buy from the live listing. Prices move constantly, so this refreshes automatically.

Why value per unit beats the cheapest price

The cheapest hard drive is rarely the best value per terabyte. The cheapest graphics card is rarely the best value per frame. The cheapest power station is rarely the best value per watt-hour. Ranking by the unit you care about, the same idea that makes a price-per-terabyte table more useful than a list of drive prices, is the fastest way to find where your money goes furthest. That is the one number each of the pages above is built around.
